Today I woke up
not feeling so well. I take a number of medications to keep me from going into
organ rejection. My issue is pretty much on going because I will be on the medications
for the rest of my life. Some of the medications have ruined my back, and given
me terrible stomach pain that is often unbearable every single day, but by no
mean is this a pity party, but an account of will and drive. I find ways to smile which makes things a lot easier then I do some self fulfilling prophecy, and tell myself nothing will block me from my goals and there will be no obstacles that stand in the way of my happiness. Have you ever heard the saying "Showing up is 75% of the battle," well I believe showing up is 90% of the battle. By adopting this train of thought I have conditioned my mind and body to obey the commands of nature, and that is to get in motion.
Good post! Very inspiring. The only issue I have with it is that punctuation is a bit off, but other than that I like it. Is this blog going to consist of motivational posts?
ReplyDeleteThank you Dakota for you kindness. I also appreciate your insight on my punctuation; i will be sure to correct those issues. And to answer your question Dakota yes this blog will consist of inspirational post in efforts to evoke hope of brighter days in the mist of gloomy day. Life and it's challenges are inspiration enough to encourage us to continue to carry on through life's obsticals and thrive.
ReplyDeleteThis story has a nice flowing style, even while telling a story which may induce a feeling of compassion. It may need another word for "Medication", as it comes up 3 times in 3 lines. Spell check would also take away a couple of typing mistakes. I think that any blog look better when published without spelling or gramatical mistakes. It give them more strength.
DeleteBut as you said, 90% of the battle is done, so really this is almost perfect!!
Thank you Prana
DeleteI apprieciate your comments, and I will fix my grammatical mistakes soon, as I am new to blogging. My hope is to hone this new skill and become a better presenter for this type of body of work. I look forward to your comments in the future. until then I emplore you to enjoy life minute to minute because the precious gift of life does'nt last forever, so make your time count, and try to encourage others to continue through the struggles of day-to-day living. Stand up and stand out.
