Smile!

When I woke up this morning I had no idea what my day would be like, or turn out to be. Because of my daily and nightly routine of ingesting many medications that often times make me wish that I wasn't alive;this is not the correct attitude for me or for anyone else for that matter. My Creator has blessed me to be so fortunate enough to open my eyes, take a deep breath of air and give Him thanks. Instead of dwelling on all of the negativity swirling around life in general. i constantly tell myself to smile. It may sound funny, but the simple act of smiling seems to invigorate my mind, body and soul. Happiness is the best quality of human life and I find that it also adds value and long-longevity to one's life. I refuse to give in to the pitfalls and gloominess that the world presents everyday by smiling hoping that someone else will catch on and the idea of being beat down by by the weight of the world on their shoulders may feel lightened. During my times of misfortunes, and days of gloominess I recite what I find to be inspirational, Bible verse 17 from chapter 54 of the book of Isiah which states "No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord."

Smiling, on a physiologiescal level, relaxes the muscles not just on the face, but spread throughout the body as a wave of wellbeing. Thanks for the enthusiatic post and keep smiling and I will smile back as it is contagious.

    1. Thank you Whitney. My purpose in life is to creat more smiles than tears, so I have dedicated this blog to do just that. I hope to encourage those that see no hope, and have difficulties in daily life.
